Okay so I had been out of crickets for about five days so I would look for stuff out side to feed my exclamans. It would never be enough and some times they wouldnt even acknowledge it was there. So finally my dad brought crickets home. I put 4 crix in there and that was the most violent wasp hunt I had ever seen. When they had caught them and brought them up to the nest the other wasps would try to steal the cricket from the other wasp and they ended up ripping it apart.

Sorry for TMI but hey, just thought id share.

I also forgot to say, I put taht queen in after her nest was destoryed by my friends mom. They went up to her and smelled her and jumped back. a little later they started cleaning her. i'm going to raise a stick up so she can climb up to the nest because she cant climb the walls for some reason. the others do it just fine.

Not sure but all I saw was a worker got near her when she was on a stick that led up to the nest and when the worker got close they eiter smelled each other or cleaned. The worker let her on but when the queen stuck her head in one cell all the workers got pissed and chased her off.
