| I just went bug hunting and found a velvet ant. I was on my way back to the house when I noticed something buzzing in mom's flower bed. I swung my net and got a huge vespula germanica queen! I named her Electra after the character in greek mythology. I'll have pics and videos soon! | |

| Nice!  what are your plans for her? You know, my injured fuscatus that I had last year was Name Elektra (I spelled if differently). Two of Elektra's daughters are currently still alive (Elektra herself died a while ago). | |
