This summer, I raised some thread waisted wasps. Here's what I learned when It comes to raising them!
Materials:
Kritter Keeper(medium to large size)
substrate
food source(adults like honey or sugar water, and the young eat caterpillars)
A stick or twig with a small diameter.
Fill the bottom of the Kritter Keeper with your substrate. Place food and water dishes, and prop up some twigs. The adults hang on these with their teeth to sleep! The larvae, I didn't raise because they live underground and my wasps were wild caught and had already laid eggs.
